Two craftsmen, thirty years, one standard. Right Away Construction is led by a master carpenter and a master roofer who started doing major apartment renovations and high-end roofs with their own hands in the late 1990s and never lowered the bar.

For most of three decades, Right Away Construction grew the quiet way: referral by referral, roof by roof, across the Twin Cities. Josh and Lewis have nearly sixty years of trade experience between them: carpentry, roofing, siding, storm restoration, and the thousands of small decisions that separate a good exterior from a great one. What’s new isn’t the company or the craftsmanship; it’s that we’ve finally started introducing ourselves to homeowners who haven’t met us through a neighbor yet.
The name is the promise, in both directions: done the right way, right away.
You’ll always know what’s happening on your project. You have direct access to your representative, and a manager contacts you when your work is scheduled and your materials are delivered. No chasing, no wondering.
Professional service is mostly invisible: ordering, sequencing, permits, inspections, weather calls. We handle everything behind the scenes so your project runs smoothly from first call to final walkthrough.
We’ll do it right. Material installed accurately to manufacturer spec, and rotten or damaged wood repaired correctly, not covered over, because the Twin Cities neighborhoods and people are worth it.

Josh brings nearly three decades of construction, carpentry, exterior remodeling, and leadership experience to Right Away Construction. He began his career in the 1990s under the guidance of a master carpenter, learning the trade through hands-on work before building his own reputation as a trusted contractor in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Since then, his career has spanned residential construction, exterior remodels, roofing, siding, gutters, and years of leading projects with skill and care.
As President & Owner, Josh combines craftsmanship with family values and community trust. He understands the home, the materials, the crew, the customer, the details, and the standards required to make the whole experience work. His focus is quality workmanship, honest communication, dependable service, and making sure every customer feels cared for from start to finish.
Lewis brings nearly three decades of roofing, construction, sales, and operations experience to Right Away Construction. He started in roofing in 1996 at nineteen years old, on a crew, before moving into crew leadership and sales. Since then his career has included storm-restoration markets, residential and commercial roofing, licensed-contractor experience in Florida, thousands of projects, and more than 20,000 hours selling in-home and commercial.
As Manager, Lewis combines field knowledge with business structure. He understands the roof, the crew, the customer, the estimate, the follow-up, and the systems required to make the whole experience work. His focus is clear communication, professional service, dependable follow-through, and making sure every job is handled correctly from start to finish.

Your investment in high-quality work stays in the community and supports the skilled trades and factory workers who make the materials.
